Anxiety is characterized by excessive worry, and that can feel suffocating. It can often feel like it’s really difficult to build yourself up. Sometimes it’s hard to trust yourself due to the constant self-doubt. Low self-esteem can also play a significant role in the development of anxiety when ignored.
